HALEY MARINE GEARS is your one stop shop when it comes to marine transmission
repair. We manufacture pneumatic and hydraulic reduction gears, torsional couplings,
and clutches. We can repair any foreign or domestic marine transmission; including
orphan and obsolete gears. With over 25 years of experience in rebuilding and
remanufacturing these units we have accumulated a large engineering data base
to suit just about any type of marine transmission.
Our main service facility is located in New Orleans with an international airport
that gives us the ability to send our service personnel and parts any where
in the world at a days notice. We know how important timely service is to our
customers and we strive to offer the quickest response time.
Haley performs many in-vessel service repair tasks. Our in-vessel repairs are
accomplished by using tools like our portable boring bars and hydraulic porta-powers.
If there is absolutely no way to accomplish in-vessel repairs we can make the
repairs in a timely fashion. This ability is aided by the use of our in house
manufacturing facility for quick turn around repairs. To expedite things even
further our engineers go to your site with their portable computers. These computers
are loaded with various CAD programs which accelerate design time. Once the
idea is digitized the computer enables communication with our manufacturing
facility via the internet, world wide.
To sum it all up, Haley Marine Gears has the best all around service group
for quick and accurate repair of your marine transmission.
THE BEST THERE IS!!
JIMMY RODGERS
SENIOR SERVICE SUPERVISOR
"The best marine transmission mechanic in America", so says Ray haley, CEO of Haley Marine Hears. Jimmy Rodgers is a true phenomenon. He has superb mechanical instincts and exceptional wisdom acquired from over 20 years of experience with various marine transmissions. If Jimmy were a musician his talents would be comparable to Mozart's.
Haley considers Jimmy the quarterback of its service department team. That team has many key players like Don Rushing, Bryan Gonzales, Charlie Richardson, Robert Badon, and Marlon Ferez. They are all highly skilled technicians but none have Jimmy's 20+ years of experience; yet. And behind these key players are the younger guys who will be key players in 5-10 years.
When Haley started out, 26 years ago, they had several goals. One of those goals was to have the brightest, best trained, and most dependable service group for marine gear repair.
